Dream Catcher 3:20

See these two tomato plants? As you can see one is much smaller than the other. 

I moved into my own place about three months ago. I was so excited about the new start and my own place. I planted a few plants. Two tomatoes and one cucumber. I made a cute little garden and sitting area outside. It is so peaceful out there. 

About one month into my new home I ended up with a shoulder injury, loss of job, roommate who moved out and a worm ate one of my tomato plants. 

I have to say in the natural things looked like devastation all around me. I ended up having surgery on my shoulder and was told my line of career needed to change. I had moments that I fought fear but over all I had an overwhelming peace about it all. 
I am happy to report that I got a new job in same field but in the office. Instead of taking care of the elderly I am now a coordinator for the elderly. I met an amazing man of God!  I am doing above average on my shoulder recovery. My son is coming to stay the summer with me!!  And I came home two nights ago from being gone a lot and to my amazement found this smaller tomato plant.  IT HAD NOT DIED AFTER ALL!!

The roots of that tomato plant were founded in good soil. The same goes for my foundation. My foundation of faith was in my God!  My Faith was NOT in others, NOT in my job, and NOT in my capabilities. 

Colossians 2:7 Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. 
So when it looks like it’s hopeless You are Coming Back Strong!  Just keep your roots in HIM!

Well it has been a month since I have been able to record KIJS and I am so glad to be back!  Kinda feeling like I am having to get back in the groove again and work out all the techno issues but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I am out of the road traveling with Carol Hogner.  It was fun getting to record the show with her and have her on as a guest.  We had a lot of fun.  Nothing like having your recording studio with you and recording in the hotel in your pjs.  Thank you Mommajo for letting me go on the road with you!!
