Two Sparrows Roasting Co~ Coffee!!

I was watching a live video feed that Jeane Wynn was doing and she spoke of her Two Sparrows Coffee she had received in the mail. Well I instantly looked this company up and was very intrigued.

I decided this was a company I needed to share with y’all. ❤️☕️

When did you began Two Sparrows Roasting Company? Two Sparrows started as an idea in late summer 2015 and we officially launched in February 2016.
Is this a family company?

No and yes. We are two couples who began as friends but are now like family. We are Rick & Tara Steele and Jacob & Barbara Loyd.
Are y’all a coffee shop where others can come in and sit down and have a hot cup of java or strictly a Roasting Co?

We are currently a coffee roasting company but we have big plans for 2017. You can follow us on Instagram, Facebook, or read our blog to see what we are up to.
Are there any coffee shops that carry your brand if so what are those and where are they located?

We have a few shops currently carrying our coffee, they are: Royers Pie

Haven in Round Top next to our operations,  290 From the Ground Up in Chapel Hill, and The Whistle Stop Tea Room in Tomball.

To keep up with new additions you can check our website, www.TwoSparrowsRoasting.com .

If someone wanted to sale your coffee in their retail store is there a way they can do this?

Of course! To start that conversation just email us at [email protected] and let us know what you had in mind.
How are you involved with the stopping of human trafficking?

A portion of every purchase is contributed to organizations in Houston and Austin that are already working toward ending this epidemic.

We believe in their work and they can make a difference that we cannot do alone.

How might we get involved to help support this?

Of course we would like you to purchase coffee to help the cause but you can also go to RedeemedMinistries.com

Holiday Recipe~Stuffed Sweet Peppers

This recipe was submitted by my new sister by marriage!! ❤️

Thanks Jacinda

— Stuffed Sweet Peppers —
1 bag of mini sweet peppers (they vary in size within each bag, use the largest size pepper, you will likely only need half the bag)

1 8oz package cream cheese, cubed

1/2 roll of hot breakfast sausage

1 small onion, chopped

4 oz grated cheddar jack or cheese of preference
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Cut the stem ends of each sweet pepper off, and dice any salvageable portions then set aside to add to mixture later.

Slice Sweet peppers in half – length wise – and remove any seeds.

Spray baking dish with cooking spray and lay peppers evenly along the bottom of baking dish.
Brown 1/2 lb hot sausage in large skillet and drain.

Lower the empty skillet temperature to medium/low heat

Return drained sausage to pan and add cubed cream cheese.

Add remaining diced sweet pepper, onion, salt and pepper to preference.

Cook over medium/low heat until cream cheese is melted thoroughly.
Spread mixture over peppers and top with grated cheese.

Bake covered at 425 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

Holiday Recipe~Grandma McAfee’s Blackberry Cobbler!

Okay if anyone was to ask me what my favorite cobbler is, I would say Black Berry. Of course with some vanilla ice cream ❤️.
This recipe was submitted by Natasha McAfee!
This next one is from my husband’s late Grandma McAfee. I never personally had hers, but was told that it was one of her signature recipes. The pictures are from when the kids and I made it awhile back, and we used fresh blackberries from the pasture instead of canned.

Yummy!!!!! Who’s ready for this?
