Where was He? Will He be there?

Have you been through hell and wondered where is He?  Where was He?  Where was God?

Are you facing a challenge in your future or a dream that your saying will He be there?

I have found in my life that my biggest downfall in my life is not realizing that God has always been and always will be with me.

I tend to think of God as an outward Father that comes and goes. This is something that I have taken years to realize is false. Yet I have found myself falling back into this lie many times.

When I asked Jesus to come dwell with in my life, He did just that. God himself lives in me!  When I look back on those things in my life that were pure hell on earth and look through this revelation I see it way different. No God didn’t put me through hell but He got me through it. He provided people in my life to love me. He provided people to speak into my life.

So if God was with me back then, why would He jump ship on me tomorrow?  God is and always will be with me!

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.””
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭31:6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit.”

‭‭1 John‬ ‭4:13‬ ‭NIV‬‬

http://bible.com/111/1jn.4.13.niv
“Donʼt you know that you yourselves are Godʼs temple and that Godʼs Spirit dwells in your midst?”

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭NIV‬‬

http://bible.com/111/1co.3.16.niv

Hebrews 13:5-6 – [Let your] conversation [be] without covetousness; [and be] content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Matthew 28:20 – Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.

Today I challenge you to dwell on these verses. Then ask God to let you SEE that He never left you alone.  He is why you are here today. When you wept, He wept, when you were afraid He was there making you strong enough to overcome. Once you SEE He has always been there you will SEE He will be there tomorrow!
