Don’t be a conformer be a Transformer

When I was younger one of my favorite cartoons was Transformers. I was intrigued by the fact they looked like the average vehicle but would transform into mighty fighting machines.

What if the Transformers conformed to just being every day means of transportation?   I know they are make believe but they speak to me spiritually lol.
Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world any longer with its superficial values and customs, but be transformed and progressively changed as you mature spiritually by the renewing of your mind focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes, so that you may prove for yourselves what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect in His plan and purpose for you.

In our human form we are just ordinary everyday humans. When we renew our selves in Christ we are transformed to a un stoppable fighting machine.   We learn to fight off the enemy with our spiritual armor and weapons.

Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood contending only with physical opponents, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly supernatural places.

We might look like the average joe but we are mighty warriors in Christ. And like the Transformers when we connect and work together as one body we can not be stopped by any enemy.

Romans 8:38-39 For I am convinced and continue to be convinced—beyond any doubt that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present and threatening, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the unlimited love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Today I want yo encourage you to take off the canvas and shine who you truly are!  Stop being transformed into the everyday, average person and be transformed into the man or woman of God that He designed you to be.
