Positive Life

Day 10 of blogging.

I am going with a podcast today.

I have been doing podcast for a few years now. I have done more of a radio program style in my past. This podcast has been more of a daily life podcast. I will have guest on whenever I can convince someone to join me lol.

I felt like this was a good one to go with today. I woke up early and wondered what I would find on Facebook when I woke up. What event has been canceled. Will they have us confined to our homes by Monday?

If your reading this years down the road, google Toilet paper shortage 2020 lol.

Seriously though… right now is the time to focus on Jesus. Find positive things to focus on during this time of crisis. I am preaching to myself as well.

The thought of being confined, controlled in anyway shape or form is a fear I have always struggled with. FEAR IS A LIAR.

I believe now is the time we step up as THE CHURCH.

I hope this podcast helps you in someway. I am working on focusing on the positive and speaking to the fear!

I’ll be recording more podcast. Please subscribe to keep updated.

Mary Magdalene

This was our week 3 from the email list!

I was thinking about how so many things in our past hold us back from ALL HE HAS FOR US!
Mary Magdalene was a woman possessed by not 1 but 7 demons. She was known as someone insane. It only took ONE touch from His love to set her free.

Luke 8:2 New International Version (NIV

and also some women who had been cured of evil spirits and diseases: Mary (called Magdalene) from whom seven demons had come out;

I wonder when she was worshiping Jesus, ministering to His needs and sharing His resurrection was she thinking: oh I can not be doing this! I had 7 demons so I am not qualified.
Oh BUT she was!! Jesus qualified her just like you and I. The first one to declare His resurrection was Mary Magdalene!
John 20:1-18 New International Version (NIV)
The Empty Tomb
20 Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance. 2 So she came running to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one Jesus loved, and said, “They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we don’t know where they have put him!”
Just like Mary Magdalene we have ALL been touched with Christ love! We have been set free from our own demons and issues. If we have issues remaining we know the ONE who will set us free!
Never give up! Never shut up from the truth! Never put up with the enemies lies!
Worship like Mary! Spread His love and resurrection power like Mary!

Love Is Not WAM

True love is when you care about someone else’s needs more than you do your own.

“I pray for you more than I do myself” Diary Of The Mad Black Woman

Love is not WAM. What About Me?

It has taken me a long time to know what real love is. I was more concerned with feeling loved and getting shown love than showing it!

I found out what love is!  It is God! It is John 3:16

John 3:16 God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him won’t perish but will have eternal life.

I was watching Wynonna one day on a show and the power of God came into my apartment and the Love of God. I realized that so many selfish and crazy choices I had made was me looking for love. I am so grateful He has shown me and continues to show me through His grace and those He has placed in my life for me to love.
Did you know this “Love Holiday” that we all get so worked up about because we are not receiving flowers or candy or have a “Valentine” was originated in honor of a St Valentine? I did a study on the history of this Holiday. There are many encounters and each one I read was a selfless story of a man who did acts of kidneys and shared Gods love in “secret”. One encounter I read said that he was beheaded for marrying Christian Couples. Back during these ages the Roman Catholic Church and the Christian Church were enemies.

Now that you think about Valentines the “Love” Holiday in this manner and see that it was in honor of a selfless love based on Gods love, mayb we can decide to be a Valentine!

So let’s make this Valentines a true Love Holiday and carry it into everyday life. No more WAM!
